Proovo ("VeridionQ Technologies Pvt Ltd", "we", "us", or "our") operates the Proovo mobile application and website (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our Service.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

• Name, email address, and phone number (account registration)
• Aadhaar number and PAN number (agent identity verification only)
• Bank account or UPI ID (agent payouts)
• Company name and GST number (employer accounts)

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Precise GPS location — collected during active verification assignments to validate that the field agent is physically present at the address being verified. Location is not tracked in the background.
• Photos — camera captures during verification (building exterior, street view, landmark, agent selfie). These are uploaded to our servers and stored as part of the verification report.
• Device information — device model, OS version, and a device identifier for fraud prevention.
• Push notification token — to deliver assignment notifications to field agents.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and improve the Service
• To verify field agent identity and eligibility
• To create and deliver address verification reports to employers
• To process earnings and payouts to field agents
• To detect and prevent fraud
• To send assignment notifications and service communications
• To comply with legal obligations

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in these circumstances:

• With employers: Verification reports (including GPS coordinates and photos) are shared with the employer who requested the verification.
• With service providers: Cloud storage, payment processors, and SMS/notification providers who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.
• Legal compliance: When required by law, court order, or government authority.

5. Data Retention

Verification reports and associated photos are retained for 3 years from the date of submission, after which they are permanently deleted. Account data is retained for the duration of your account and for 1 year after deletion. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8).

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to protect your account credentials and notify us immediately of any suspected breach.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you become aware that a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and personal data
• Withdraw consent for non-essential data processing
